Mendo Hot Spot- Studio Etiquette & Cancellation Policy

 

Before you come in:

If possible, we recommend booking your spot ahead of time at mendohotspot.com to reserve your spot. For an easeful and relaxing practice for all, please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to get settled in. The doors unlock 30 minutes before class and lock when class starts. No late arrivals will be admitted. No exceptions.

Mendo Hot Spot has a scent-free policy to ensure a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment for all participants. Strong fragrances from perfumes and colognes can be overwhelming, especially in a heated, humid room, where deep breathing is essential. These scents can trigger headaches, nausea, dizziness, and respiratory irritation. Please skip the scents!

Before class:

Mendo Hot Spot is a shoe & phone free studio. Please place your shoes in the shoe cubbies when you enter the building and check in at the front desk.

All you need in the studio is your mat, water and a towel. Please leave everything else in the lobby (especially your shoes and phone); this is your time to disconnect with the outside world and focus inward. Don’t worry, photo ops will be available before/after class! (Videos may be taken with permission)

Don't worry if you forget your mat/towel. You can rent/purchase one of our eco-friendly cork yoga mats or organic cotton towels.

During class:

Have fun and listen to your body. This is your practice so go at your own pace while also pushing yourself to your limits! If you require a break, consider taking a child’s pose or lying down on your mat. Exiting early can create distractions for both the teacher and students. However, we understand if you need to step out for a breath.

We love to socialize and chat but please keep the volume low out of respect to your teachers and other participants.

After class:

Please be mindful of those around you that might still be in savasana. Wipe down all props & rental mats and put them away in a neat and organized manner. If you need help, please ask!

There will be no refunds on packages, memberships, or drop ins. No exceptions.

Pre-registration is recommended for all classes due to limited class sizes.

Mendo Hot Spot requests that you cancel in-studio class reservations if you cannot attend.

In the event of a no-show or no-cancel, a $25 fee will be charged to the card on file for members, or non-members will lose that class credit.

*Please note we do not accept phone/voicemail cancellations.

*If something beyond your control happens, please don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know.

*We kindly ask you not to ask us to break this golden rule, it is in place to deter consistent no-shows.
