Mendo Hot Spot- Studio Etiquette & Cancellation Policy

 

Before you come in:

• You may book ahead at mendohotspot.com and pay with card or cash at check‑in. Walk‑ins are welcome as long as space allows.

• Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in. Doors unlock 15 minutes before class and lock right when class begins. No late arrivals will be admitted.

Scent & Shoe‑Free Studio: To keep the room safe and comfortable for everyone, please avoid perfumes, colognes, and strong fragrances. Heated, humid movement can make scents overwhelming and can trigger headaches or respiratory irritation. Please skip the scents and place shoes in the cubbies when you enter the building before check-in.

• Mindful phone use:

  • Photos/videos allowed before and after class, or during if done respectfully.

  • During class, phones must stay silent. No scrolling, no flash, no tripods, volume off.

  • Avoid filming others in the background without consent.

• Bring your mat, reusable water bottle, and towel.

• Forgot something? Rent or purchase an eco‑friendly cork mat or organic cotton towel. We also offer snacks for purchase — protein bars and cold-pressed Namaste Cafe juices are available at the front desk (while supplies last).

During class:

• Listen to your body, have fun and move at your own pace. Take child’s pose or lie down if you need a break. Please avoid exiting early unless absolutely necessary. There is always a modification. 

• Keep conversations quiet to respect the room and your instructor.

After class:

• Be mindful of those still in savasana. Wipe down props and rental mats and return them neatly.

• Ask if you need help — we’re here for you. We hope you find what sets your soul on fire.

There will be no refunds on packages, memberships, or drop ins. No exceptions.

Pre-registration is recommended for all classes due to limited class sizes.

Mendo Hot Spot requests that you cancel in-studio class reservations if you cannot attend.

In the event of a no-show or no-cancel, a $25 fee will be charged to the card on file for members, or non-members will lose that class credit.

Class cancellations can be submitted online at mendohotspot.com, via the Mindbody app, or by emailing the studio directly at welcome@mendohotspot.com

*Please note we do not accept phone/voicemail cancellations.

*If something beyond your control happens, please don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know.

*We kindly ask you not to ask us to break this golden rule, it is in place to deter consistent no-shows.
